Fraunhofer IKS and Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) are hosting the scientific conference for computer system safety and security
SafeComp 2022 to be held in Munich
The 41st International Conference on Computer Safety, Reliability and Security, SafeComp, will take place next year in Munich. For its 2022 edition, the annual event has the motto »New frontiers of safety assurance«.
From September 6-9, 2022, Munich will welcome leading specialists in safety, security and reliability of critical software-intensive systems from around the world. The 41st International SafeComp Conference will provide experts with a chance to exchange knowledge as regards new methods, approaches and practical solutions in these fields
The conference will focus primarily on »New frontiers of safety assurance«. Based on this guiding principle, the conference will address how safety-relevant and safety-critical applications are developed, evaluated, operated and maintained. The topics discussed will include resilient and fault-tolerant hardware and software architectures, fault detection and recovery mechanisms, and real-time remote monitoring and control.
The conference will be co-chaired by apl. Prof. Dr. habil. Mario Trapp, Institute Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Cognitive Systems IKS, and Prof. Dr. Francesca Saglietti, Chair of Software Engineering at Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.

The venues will be the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security AISEC and the Science Congress Center Munich, GALILEO, both of which are located in Garching, a nearby town to the north of the Bavarian capital Munich.
