Visitor regulations

Please follow these safety instructions to make your visit to Fraunhofer IKS as pleasant and safe as possible:

1. Wear your visitor badge visibly at all times during your visit.
2. You will receive a warm welcome at the reception desk and be accompanied by a member of staff during your visit to Fraunhofer IKS.
3. Please use only the routes shown or indicated to you.
   
4. Familiarize yourself with the location of the escape and rescue routes.
5. Pay attention to the safety information provided, as well as to the mandatory, prohibition, warning and information signs, and follow the instructions of our employees.
   
6. Please support all safety-related measures and follow the instructions of our employees to prevent accidents.
7. Please observe the safety instructions when handling equipment and when working with mains voltages.
8. In our institute, only electrical equipment and components that correspond to the state of the art and have a valid test seal according to DGUV Regulation 3 may be used. It is your responsibility to check this before use.
   
9. Please do not operate or start any machines or systems.
10. In case of danger, please leave the premises using the marked escape and rescue routes and the emergency exit doors.
11. Smoking is not allowed in the entire building.
12. Photographing or recording processes, workpieces, articles, documents and conversations is not permitted in the IKS areas and requires the approval of the institute management.
    
13. Please treat all company and business secrets you become aware of as confidential and do not disclose them to third parties.
14. When leaving Fraunhofer IKS, please return your visitor badge to the receptionist.
