Machine learning techniques can be used to analyze and process large amounts of data quickly and precisely. Machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) thus show great potential in application areas, but also bring new challenges for safe and reliable application. Particularly in medicine, AI is leading healthcare to digital transformation, e.g. through digital patient records and robotic assistants in surgeries.

On June 27 and 28, 2022, »Tech Days 2022« will take place at the Muffatwerk in Munich. The event will bring together innovation managers, scientists, industry experts, decision-makers from the corporate world, tech founders, entrepreneurs and start-ups. Through talks, panel discussions, tech exhibition, demo spaces, digital art performances and tech pitches, they exchange ideas about the ongoing transformation, new ways of creating, organizing or accelerating innovations.

Dr. Narges Ahmidi, Department Head Reasoned AI Decisions at Fraunhofer IKS, will hold a keynote on "Healthcare is undergoing a digital transformation" on June 27 at 7:15 pm.

PD Dr. habil. Jeanette Miriam Lorenz, Senior Scientist at Fraunhofer IKS, will give a talk on "Using hybrid quantum-classical convolutional neural networks to identify cancer" at the session "Artificial Intelligence & Metaverse" on June 28 at 11:00 am.
