Flexible and adaptive production with AI integration: Insights and use cases from Beckhoff

The field of industrial production is not unaffected by the rapid advances in AI and digitalization. Digital twins in the form of asset administration shells, flexible architectures or virtual PLCs allow flexible, individualized and resilient production, in which the focus is also increasingly placed on people. In this online seminar you will gain insights into the current state and solutions of software and system architectures and artificial intelligence in smart manufacturing.

Our external speaker, Nicolas Camargo Torres (Product Management TwinCAT, Beckhoff Automation), will discuss challenges and solutions from an industry perspective.

Dr. Gereon Weiss (Head of Department Self-Adaptive Systems, Fraunhofer IKS) will present current development trends and an original approach for adaptive AI-driven architectures in smart manufacturing, as well as give an outlook on future developments.
